everything on: 30 average
shadows off: 50 average
everything off: 200 average

all settings at medium. and under linux. (windows=about 3 fps more)

i can run other games full setting x16 antialiasing, even the sims 3. but i have hope for this project after seeing the recent speedup, and can't wait for opengl 3.x to become standard. i'm actually picking up a book on gl3
