Cant install n Ubuntu Edgy 6.10

i think the mx440 is the problem. i also tried to install vdrift on a ubuntu laptop with this card and had the same problem.

I too have a geforce 440 mx 8x AGP with Ubuntu 7.04 and it works perfeclty.
I do have a desktop system, and NOT a laptop.

I Hope soon i will be posting something more interesting that errors... when i learn how to put my cars ingame.

The Intel video hardware may still be behind the times! May require that the colour pallette be lowered to 16BPP for 3D!

I wouldn't recommend using anything but an NVidia or ATI 3d accelerator to run VDrift.
