Some about the Physics Engine
Analog joystick controls are already in the game, and in my opinion, are really the only way to play VDrift right now. I agee with you that there needs to be some assistance for the keyboard controls, but it's been a low priority (check out the poll on the main page! people want multiplayer first, and it's taking a lot of work). Mouse control is an even better idea than improved keyboard controls. It's on the list of things to do, too.
