Autopackage is not working on Ubuntu Dapper Drake (6.06)

Well actually, I keep meaning to install Ubuntu Dapper but never get around to it, since my Debian Etch system is running pretty well. That's what I developed on. The thing you're actually missing is libopenalut, the reason it doesn't report that is openal and it's related libraries are not in autopackage's friendly list of dependency packages. So we have set it up to just check directly for a library by that name, which for some crazy reason, doesn't print an error message when it isn't found (even though it's required). This is an autopackage quirk that's sort of out of our hands, though maybe there's something we can do about it (I'm not sure yet).

Anyway the solution is to fire up your package manager, and search for "alut". You should come up with a package called something like "libopenalut". I believe installing this will also force you to install libopenal if you don't have it, but make sure you have it anyway (seach for "openal").
