I think you have right.
I used like example Brands but unfortunately
now that you point it out, I used wrong coefficients Sad

I used like these:
Code:
asfalt/road

set 1 road* 6  2.0
set 1 road* 7  0.03
set 1 road* 8  0
set 1 road* 9  1
set 1 road* 10 0.6
set 1 road* 11 0.9
set 1 road* 12 5.0
set 1 road* 13 20.0

rim

set 1 rmb* 6  2.0
set 1 rmb* 7  0.03
set 1 rmb* 8  0
set 1 rmb* 9  1
set 1 rmb* 10 1.0
set 1 rmb* 11 0.9
set 1 rmb* 12 1.0
set 1 rmb* 13 0.0

grass

set 1 grass* 6  10.0
set 1 grass* 7  0.1
set 1 grass* 8  0
set 1 grass* 9  1
set 1 grass* 10 0.6
set 1 grass* 11 0.9
set 1 grass* 12 5.0
set 1 grass* 13 20.0

sand

set 1 grvla.bmp.png 6  2.0
set 1 grvla.bmp.png 7  0.05
set 1 grvla.bmp.png 8  0
set 1 grvla.bmp.png 9  1
set 1 grvla.bmp.png 10 0.8
set 1 grvla.bmp.png 11 0.9
set 1 grvla.bmp.png 12 30.0
set 1 grvla.bmp.png 13 100.0

Could you tell me the correct coefficients?
Surely I must to modify rim and road.

Thanks and sorry (my fault)

not all road* textures belong to the actual track. for example, at monza, roadber and roadgreen seem to belong to some kind of curb/run off area. for the coefficients look at the tracks i committed (jarama, le mans, zandvoort, brands, hockenheim, kyalami) for actual values. normally i don't touch the track values and modify the curbs (they are bumpy but no drag) grass (decrease the friction coefficient, i.e slippery, some drag, some bumpiness and a long wavelength) sand/gravel a lot of drag, etc.

Ok I'll try to do my best. I'll rework all my modified circuits.

P.S. Sorry about my delay but my hard disk is dead and I had to reinstalled everything.

Monza should be ok now (r1486).
I've also added 4 starting position.
Last position maybe is incorrect, my PC is too slow and with 4 cars
crash.

The crash bug should be fixed in r1503.

Ok now don't crash Smile (with 4 car is very very slow)
Only problem is:

Out of sound sources, can't create new source for buffer /home/game/dev/vdrift/rel/vdrift/data/sounds/tire_squeal.wav (11)

And so on about audio

Thanks.

Update LagunaSeca track coefficients (r1528).
Next weekend track.

pwp71, thanks for your work on updating the tracks. I've tested the ones you've updated and all looks good.

What does everyone think about the bump strips? Are they bumpy enough? I sometimes have a hard time telling that the car is going over them on in-car camera mode.

Also, on Monza, there is a stretch of the road where it changes color. I'm not really familiar with this track, but shouldn't this surface have different friction than the regular road? Does anyone know what kind of surface that's supposed to be exactly?

Update weekend track coefficients (r1529).
Next spa track.

I live near Monza, and I think that the circuit is a little bit different.
There is a more accentuate down grade.
About the road I don't know if the coeff are the same, but the different color is due a remake of chicanes.

About Weekend Drive...could you make the trees and bushes no longer collidable? It is very annoying to hit them because I just get stuck in them. They are flat anyway...might as well just make them non-collidable.

OK, now trees are non-collidable (r1530).
