How do you add extra front wheels to "*.car" file?
Needing a little advice on how to add extra front wheels to a model, using the "*car" file. Looking at a 70s Tyrell P34 6-wheeler idea.

Pity, but thanks for response.

Trying to get some steering and suspension details on the P34. Check out those links :

I have managed to convert a P34 from "Racer" files and have it running in "Vdrift", but with only one set of front wheels.

I have found the following :
Engine: Ford Cosworth DFV, 3-;itre, 465 bhp
Gearbox: Hewland FG400
Fuel/tanks: 42 imp. gallons
Wheels: Front: Twin wheels. 10" dia. 9" wide.
Rear: 13" dia. 18" wide.
Tyres: Goodyear (special fronts with 16" OD)
Suspension: Front: Twin double wishbones with outboard coils.
Rear: Parallel lower links, single top link, twin radius rods, outboard coils.
Steering: Single rack with slave link to each axle.
Weight: 575 kgs.
Top speed: 175 mph.
Note steering (highlighted above), is directly linked from front pair to next pair, so reacts in identical fashion. Could it not be possible to duplicate a normal front layout but moved rearwards and in "car" file named "wheel-FR-2" and "wheel-FL-2" to denote different position. In my vdrift model, I have place front wheels well forward, hoping to be able to add the rear set of front wheels later......
I'll try to upload my P34 conversion somewhere...Geo.

I have uploaded Tyrell P34 car to my web site :
http://www3.sympatico.ca/gmacgruer/Index.html
It is near top of main page under "Vdrift Tyrell P34 Car Download", and is in a small zip file.

Yes, I have created a Sourceforge Account, and I would be happy for you to add me to the SVN data repo.

No, for Sourceforge Account, I had to use "geo53" as my username.
