It doesn't, but I'm testing something now so it does.

Ok, now I get output to the console, but I'll disable it for release build (it this case it has always an open commandline screen, which I don't like)
For the problem reported here:
I have this om my other win32 computer too.
And I work arounded this by using the official SDL dlls.
So it seems that something is wrong with my home-compiled build, but I have no idea what.
The best work arround seems to download win32 deps used by SDLDot net
