Flying off the map
If I get going like 120 miles an hour and my car locks up and I hit something I go flying, which is expected. But then I go flying through the trees and end up floating into some sort of dark hole in the middle of the map.
When I tried taking a screenshot, it just turned out black, but if you want to see it, just drive into the side of the track so you go flying out, then just drive through the trees.[/img]

Hi Mark
- Flying should have been fixed in the current version.
- Driving trough trees means that they haven't been marked as collidables in the track editor(during track creation). So someone has to fix it.

The going off of the map problem still needs to be fixed, or a button to reset the car to being on the map is required because once you fall off the map you can't go back.

The problem is there is too many sites which i found that shouldn't of even happened.
paulricard88 - double check all the open gaps and rework those a bit (add gates) because you can easily drive yourself right off the map because of missing collision detection.
rouen is a good map to get off course and be able to fall off the map. The collision walls are all to short and it's possible to wind up out of the map simply by brushing the wall at 90mhp in game for about 50 ft.
also the distance markers, if you hit those at roughly 110mph you can easily go flying out of the course and be able to drive off the map then.

There is too many places to take pictures of on the holes... it'd be faster just to do some basic play testing and try driving into the cars or trucks and gaps between barriers, because almost all of these spots have no collision wall.

Dandel, if you are going to report a bug, then REPORT it.
If you just want to complain and whine then do that elsewhere. Write a blog or something.
I mean, at least list the tracks, and if possible the positions on the tracks. Then the developers have somewhere to look instead of having to play through EVERYTHING until they hit it.
They have lives too, y'know. They don't have time to test VDrift ad infinitum at your whim.

I'd Love to, but i'm not going to waste a lot of time to to upload over 40 images showing bugs in just 1 map.... The Picard Raceway 88 map has too many bugs to count. Also, I uploaded one of the example bugs. )all cars on the map display this bug), and the billboard roadblock doesn't stop cars.
Side note(Small collision boxes): The smaller collision boxes for say Distance markers and Road cones should be handled differently, because it's not realistic to hit one of these items at over 100 mph and have the car sent flying. Instead these items should be made destructible in some fashion (or for convenience have the collision bounds on these turned off)
side note (Image Uploader): I'm talking about the web browser upload for images is seriously broken on Ubuntu 10.04 with firefox 3.6.6, it won't let me upload more than 1 image at a time.
