I haven't forgotten it, but I'll add it to the issue tracker to make sure I don't.

I was thinking about this a bit more. In the test case of the nurburgring, what you want is one road segment that the AI follows, and then additional road segments that allow for a smooth road but which the AI won't take. For that, I think you could just trace the main road segment along the path you want the AI to take and then trace completely separate road segments for the other areas. Are there other cases where this approach doesn't work? What are those cases and what is the expected behavior?
