What benefit would there be to switching to the configfile format? You should be able to use the control class interface to modify or delete bindings to your heart's content. Changing to the configfile format wouldn't change anything (not even your interface to it) except the file that's stored on disk, and it would require a ton of busywork re-coding. You can add it to the TODO if you want, but I'm not going to do this until all of the other things that we need to do get done first. I don't remember seeing a lot of people asking for a control file format that's similar to the other file formats we use. :-)As for double assignments, I think we should either not allow double assignments or highlight any double assignments... I'll have to think about it.And no, not two buttons per cell. One button for delete and an icon for what's currently assigned. New assignments would be made by clicking on one of the Add buttons at the far left of the row. To change a control, you'd delete and then add (two clicks, not bad). This is because I want different buttons for adding different devices/input types. However, I'll have to think more about this....
