Turning on motion blur doesn't work and neither does raising the lighting quality past low. They are both reset to "off" and low when the game is reset.

These are known issues; just haven't gotten around to re-implementing motion blur yet (and the lighting quality setting never did anything; I should just remove it).

Also I collided into one of those white boards next to the track and it crashed.

Hey, thanks for putting those logs in your post! I can see there are two problems: 1) shaders are getting disabled, so you're not getting fancy graphics. The ATI shader compiler is a bit more strict than the NVidia one and I test with NVidia more often than ATI so it looks like some changes I made recently caused problems for the ATI card. I've *think* fixed those problems in R2274 and R277 data; if you could update and test I'd appreciate it (see if you can turn on shadows; that's one way to know for sure if shaders are working -- just remember you have to restart after turning on shadows or shaders for them to take effect). 2) I'll look into the collision problem a bit more later; it looks like I was being too strict with my assert statements and just need to add a conditional instead.
