Autotools vs SCons configure/build system
Okay, sounds like people are for scons.For the paths, just make it define DATA_DIR to the path location... that is, instead of defining HAVE_OPENAL, make it define DATA_DIR with the path. Support for it isn't in SVN yet, but it won't be hard for me to add.
