Win32 version uses DATA_DIR as the data directory, which is defined in definitions.h. For Linux build, this is generated by scons script. I'm not sure what happens for Win32 build.

p.s. does the Win32 build print some output when runing vdrift.exe, similar to linux version? I'm not able to get any output, even with -debug flag.
