Selling Vdrift CD's
Just got an idea to make us some cash. Sell Vdrift CD's (or DVD's). just put the installers on them and sell them to people who don't have the speed or patience to download Vdrift. charge a small amount and people should buy. Just an idea.

In my opinion, there's no point in bumping a thread that's in the top quarter of the page, especially considering the dates on this page run back to April or so.

ehh. from experience, threads take a lot longer to get a reply if there lower then the top 5, so I'm bumping this seeing as it can get vdrift some good cash.

If you package it people are more likely to compare it to other racing sims on the market and vdrift is not yet up to that standard.

Frankly, TF is right. I hate to say it, but it does not have the "advancedness" to compare with other games like it just yet. I personally prefer it over a lot of other racing sims, but there are a lot of other people who would not agree with me. But, I could think of some people who would buy it if the price was right, meaning very very low.

I'm not trying to make money off of vdrift, so I personally won't be selling any CDs... unless I lose my day job or something. :-) I don't think there's anything in our license (GPL) to stop someone else from doing it if they want, though, provided it complies with the terms of the license.

I'm not saying to ONLY do it but to make it as an option.
