FYI Drift theory
Ive been fiddling with the car setup files but in case others want to know, here are the factors that effect drifting in real life.
The initial angle should be inertia. The amount you toss the car into the corner. After that the gas pedal/engine rpm should take over. If you let off the gas, your angle should become less, if you get on the gas, the angle should be more.
Ive managed to get the car to this point. The problem is that the car wont change it's original arch. Meaning once you toss the car into a turn, its doing that exact line no matter what. The angle only serves to point you in the direction you are when you come out.
Now how do you fix this? I thought to add more longitudinal traction but that just makes it harder to get the rear out... anyone have ideas? The car needs to be propelled forward by more gas as well as get more angle, as it stands, it doesnt.
