I've been trying to dig vdrift.net for several days now, I think it should be working by now...most of the time DNS only takes a day or so to propagate, it's been almost a week. Is there anything that might be holding this up?

damn, must be. where did you register? godaddy?go ahead and add another cname svn.vdrift.net and I'll set up a Subversion repository on the clug server when it finally switches over. Then we won't need SF.net CVS. Whenever that gets done, I want to set up a repository for both the VDrift code and the modelpack, which I'd like to update a bit. I'm pretty sure svn will track changes across data files too...

I registered at 000domains.com, which is where I have venzon.net. I just checked zoneedit and:Warning: Your nameservers have switched, and many servers have received notification of the switch. Some servers may not have been notified. Typically, all servers will be aware of the change 2 days after the switch. Until that time, your domain may respond unreliably, or the data on your old nameservers may still be in effect. This warning will disappear 2 days after first detecting the switch. So there you go. Soon.I'll add svn.sourceforge.net [edit: svn.vdrift.net].

Well it finally works here, I can resolve vdrift.net and get the CLUG server IP. Cool! BTW I use zoneedit too, it's way better than about every other DNS management utility I've used, including the one the registrar gives you...Wow you have control over the sourceforge domain? Big Grin The CLUG server just got backed up fully for an OS upgrade so I'm going to wait until that's done to do a full switchover of the site and the new svn repos. It will be a day or so before we get everything reinstalled and running correctly. That should give time for any straggling DNS servers to get caught up.

I have vdrift.net up. I'm going to take down this site, update the new database, and put up a redirect to the new site.
