I think it'd be cool to try to approximate the visual style of this screen for the car chooser:

The buttons at the bottom are ugly, but I like the font and the overall visual style. I think we could use that as inspiration for a new car selection screen.

I don't know...since this is a drift game it needs something more "dirty" like a parking lot or a garage, in my opinion

Hmm... you know, I've thought about this for a while... it might be worth considering having separate game modes for drifting, GT racing, rally racing, and autocrossing. They're all fairly different stylistically, and require different cars and setups. I must admit, I've been doing mostly grip racing when I play VDrift these days.
