Is there a reset method ?
Note: Quick edit; I found the VDrift.config file and deleted it, now it's OK, sorry, should have searched first.

Hi, I d'loaded VDrift (vs. 2014-10-20) Created (Sun Oct 19, 14 7:27PM) and initially it seemed to work fine, at first.
I drove a few races and then went exploring.

Then, I found the options menu and thought I would adjust the screen size and perhaps ramp up any of the graphic options. I have an iMac (Late-2012) 13,1 2.7GHz quad-core i5 and NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M and it's quite peppy.
After I altered the options, the control of the car became very wishy-washy. Spinning out a lot, and ending up nose into a guard rail often and had to quit the game and restart.

1. Is there some way to reset the game to it's defaults ? It seemed OK at first.
I looked in my Library/Preferences in OSX 10.8.5 and there does not seem to be a .plist file that I can drag out, which often does the trick.
I also looked inside the vdrift .pkg itself and although I did find a .plist file it did not seem to have been changed, so I left it alone.
I also re-installed the whole thing from the dmg. but the new prefs. were still there.

Thanks for any help with this

RE: Is there a reset method ?
Delete VDrift.config in vdrift user folder:
mac: Library/Preferences/VDrift (I think)
linux: .vdrift
windows: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\VDrift

Thank You NAN,
Yes, as I said, I did some searching and found the required file to edit/delete and this did the trick.
I used Smultron to edit the VDrift.config file and also was able to adjust the monitor window size easily.
BTW, for me the "VDrift.config" file was in User/Library/Application Support/VDrift OSX 10.8.5 MLion.

The game (sim) works quite nicely now, and reminds me of "F1" (Formula 1) which I used to like on my former old PowerPCMac (G4). The game Physics seem (almost) spot-on. It does require some practice, as usual.

I admire your skill and patience to create such an advanced App., although I bet it is actually a lot of fun. I've come close, a few times, to actually try to compile something in OSX but there are just so, so many things to know about. Then Apple comes along and updates the OS and pulls the rug out from underneath !! Oh well… One of these days……

Thanks, again, Jang
