1950 F1 Season
Hello,

unfortunally I don't have all time I need to develop as I would like...
But recently I've modelised an old Alfa Romeo 158, and I'm working on Silverstone track, as it was in 1950 during the first F1 grand prix ever. It's completed about 70%.

I'd like to modelise all 7 tracks of 1950's championship (Silverstone - Monaco - Indianapolis - Bremgarten - Reims - Spa - Monza).. we'll see if I can !
...help to modelise sides objects (buildings, cars, tribunes...) is welcome...

Very neat! I bet those old racers are tough to drive.

RE: 1950 F1 Season
there are littles things to ajust on this old car !
*Tires and brakediscs are already modelised in Vdrift, no need to export my own model. How to edit dimensions and positions of brakediscs ?
* how can I give more power to the engine ? I actually use Lotus Elise Engine specs...
Here are engine specs of this "Alfetta" : 145.4 kw / 195 bhp @ 7200 rpm. Top speed : 195 mph
* ...can we edit field of view for cockpit view in .car file ? I can't see the stering wheel
* Can we use a very detailled 2d or 3d cockpit, not visible in exterior view, but visible only in cockit view? as we can see in a game like Grand Prix Legends ?

I've got code to support custom wheel, rims, tire and brake disk meshes. Non-rotating wheel components are not supported but should be easy to add. A tachometer, speedometer needle (analog to the steering wheel) should be a easy job too.

Atm I am quite busy with the simulation though.
