Cool. I've updated the strings.txt file. It has 3 additional string blocks to translate. They are shared between skins. I hope I've got them all now.

You can post it here or use a file upload/sharing service. Feel free to add your name to the file if you like "#Translation by ...".

Code:
Romanian
Rumänisch
Română
Румынский язык

Thanks a lot asasinuxp. The fonts are almost ready. Just need to hack some glyph padding into the SDFont tool.

Romanian translation is in trunk. Control assignment and HUD translation support are work in progress.

I've been thinking about moving the HUD into GUI to allow per skin customization. But there are a number of things that have to be changed to suppot this.

The heads up display is the additional information you see on screen while playing, like the tacho, speed and lap time bars.

Seems that i missed something.. i've tried to copy everything from strings.txt and paste all text, without comments and blank lines to [strings] section into FileName.lng. After that i added " = a" to the end of each string and tried to launch vdrift. I assumed to see "a" everywhere, but main menu is in English..

How does it work, NaN ? Or it's better to look into code?

You have selected the language in the menu?

The format is:
Code:
[font]
texture = FreeSansBold1250.png
info = FreeSansBold1250.fnt

[strings]
name = value

There must not be any strings without values else they are parsed as a new section. Uncomment line 54 in gui.cpp to see the parsed language file.
