Hi.I have compiled vdrift-2005-10-02-src like this web say.I have installed and when run don't see menu text in vdrift windows. How much video memory do you have? I guess we really should figure out exactly what the requirements for this game are. It looks from your screenshot like it's unable to load some graphics properly. This could be due to not having 4 texture units (but it should run with only 2 despite this, instead of crash). Also, how fast is your CPU and how much system memory do you have?By the way, the missing interior models are no big deal - these are just models we haven't gotten around to finishing yet, and the game ignores them if they're not there.

My notebook:Acer Aspire 1355LMCPU Amd Athlon XP-mobile 2600+ (~2000 Mhz)System Ram 512 Mb64 Mb ram (shared system memory) graphics (VIA KM400)Direct rendering: yesglxgears gives me 500-600 FPS with unichrome driversIf crash isn't related with no exist of file interior.joe, why crash? I can't hear engine run and close window.Thanks

So, is the game actually crashing on you, or are you just killing it because you can't read the menus (and therefore can't quit normally)?The problem is probably because your graphics card doesn't support large textures, and the font textures are pretty dang big (1024x1024, I think). Go find data/tex/newfontt3.png and just scale it down in The Gimp or something to 512x512 or 256x256, save the file, and try again.
