Need some help for new defined F1
For some time i modified the data of the F1 car.

now I scaled the car and changed the zero-point of model and definition-data.
The car bumps around or falls through the road at start. :-(

Can someone take a look over data and model, please?

Complete F1 car directory including the Blender-File as 1.83MB Zip-File:

As for data someone posted a whole bunch of data changes for different tracks on the F1, of course they were based on the gigantic model, so not sure how useful they are...

Now i understand you....

The zip-archi"e"ve above includes the adopted data-file. The only thing i didn´t touch yet: the wheels.

Making the body higher off the ground isn't really going to help with it falling through the road. As far as the bottom dragging on some courses, that's pretty much standard for F1 - which is why the FIA mandates "legality planks" under the car, to force a certain ride height to be maintained. The planks can accept a certain amount of wear before the car is disqualified from the results of a race, and many teams tend to put the car as low as they can and use what wear can be accepted.

No what i meant is maybe vdrift isn't really reading the wheels since he didnt change them yet so it is as if the body sits on the ground like this

*__*

The line is the body and the asterisks are the wheels. this could make the game jump around Big Grin Big Grin

It matters less where the bottom of the model is, and more where the bottom of the collision box ends up.
