Any news? I finally got the s2000 HD version of the car done just needs some textures and its ready to go in Vdrift.
As i can see the forum is pretty much dead but i am still working on cars just because i like to model them.Any feedback would do great.
Also there are some issues with a lot of cars and i will put some ideas of mine for the game:
1.does the numbers in Particles(that are used for weight distribution) represent kg? and is that the only way to set the car's weight?
2.why the wheels have no Mass or if i add a Mass= 10 for example it does not seem to work.
3.the Wheel Hinge for most of the cars is set up wrong..i would like to have a simple drawing of how actually the hinge is working..although i made my own research on subject i'd like to see if i am right.
4.In order to drift the car must have a lot of tuning especially the suspension,engine and mass distribution.For this in the menu can be added a Tuning Cars tab that can be accessed even on the track so its easy to test and drive the car without having to edit the Car file from outside the game.
5.New menu system with tabs-easy to access Car looks and some parts tuning.Also can we add different parts like "suspension" and "superchargers" ? I can make some visuals for menu.
6.The Multiple car file is AWESOME!!! its so great to be able to compare Before and after.
PLEASE release a new build...
7.I modeled some cars and tried like 4 types of modeling,texturing,trying to get the cars as good looking and good for game as i could.i finally got the best looking car s2000 but in order to put it in game i wanted to weld the glass to the body but still have the reflection of the car on the glass but i wanted the glass to be transparent but i cant... i will post latter a Map of car UW's in witch the car parts have they'r own places .
Hopefully i didn't killed anyone with boring stuff
