Legal issues?

I'm not a lawyer, so I'm not sure what kind of issues there would be with using the names of real places with real ads that are/were really there. Trademarks can't be used on products or services which are identical or similar to the products or services which the registration covers, so my guess is no issue there. Copyright has to do with the protection of artistic works from unauthorized derivatives, but I'm not sure how it'd apply to a representation of a real place (is a real place an artistic work?). I don't have the time/money to hire a lawyer to answer these questions, so if someone asked me to remove them I would.
