About the joe-format

Re: About the joe-format
Thanks for your answers! That put some light into it. I read in the wiki that it was a "proprietary format" and thought: *.joe must be a standard-format for a closed-source modeling-software and I searched it in the internet without successs. Everything is pretty clear, now that I finally read your nickname... Smile

Maybe. Can you suggest one?
Err...no.
I guess you already know about the blender game engine and there will be a couple of reasons why this won't be a sollution for this project. I mean, beside the fact, that wings3D can't export to blender-format directly, also...

joevenzon Wrote:What I should probably do is move .dof support into modelconvert instead of having a separate utility, and also make modelconvert able to convert to .joe (instead of just from .joe)....
That will be a good idea. If I have some spare time, I'll check the "original" dof2joe on some of racers cars.
