Vdrift-setup-2009-06-15.exe doesn't start

I dug around online and it sounds like this may have something to do with mixing visual studio 2005 and 2008 redistributable DLLs... however, VDrift doesn't use any visual studio compiled programs. It may be that 1) your windows installation has some issue or 2) one of the DLLs included with VDrift such as SDL, glew32, vorbis, etc is having this conflict. Have you ever had other applications give this error? One microsoft site recommends reinstalling the last service pack. However, I think you should try this first

If those ask for an installation path you could try telling them to put the dlls in the vdrift folder.
