I've got this command-line automated performance testing in the SVN trunk code; I was curious about the stopping distance after you mentioned it above so I added a test for it in R2257. The result for the S2000:

So that's pretty close: 106 ft. Motor trend got 110 ft with a real S2000. If you imagine the S2000 in the game has slightly better tires than what comes stock, then yeah, it's plausible.
