What part do you mean?

No switch for deactivating ads: Somebody will implement it, fork the project or whatever. Whatever we do, it will produce discussions

Or that the developers have to discuss which ads will be displayed in game or not?
They have to, because everybody has his/her own opinion and if you don't care about that you might loose them.

since you seem to be fixated on this idea of removing ads from the game (you are the one who started the in-game advertising thread back in august) let me put it to you bluntly:

if you don't like advertising make your own tracks.

if you insist the tracks i make have no advertising i'll stop contributing them. to me the advertising is just another form of realism (just like the off track buildings and the track itself). i like to race in realistic environments, makes me believe i am at imola, or barcelona, or whatever. it's a fantasy of mine. the ads don't make me want to start banking with rbs or buy birdgestone tires for my car or whatever. if they make you do that than you have problems.
