Hey, thanks for the tip. I tried the minimal build from cotharyus. Unfortunately it launches and disappears. Will try to figure than out, probably some missing library or something.

Just to clarify the 100% usage is for one core, since this is dual core that would translate to 50% cpu usage. Can other Mac users confirm this usage pattern is the same with them? Thanks.
