rendering problems
i am working on a new track conversion (imola) but i can't get the horizon and the sky to render properly. this problem has always been there (before the switch to the scenegraph branch) and i just don't understand what's going on.

i am attaching two pictures to illustrate the problem. in the first one, when i don't make the horizon a skybox, the objects get rendered properly:

if i make the horizon a skybox then it kind of bleeds through the track objects which get rendered only as i get close to them (i have the view distance set to maximum).

this particular effect seems to be specific only to this track. i tried borrowing the horizon and the sky from other tracks where i don't see this but the problem persists.

does anybody have any ideas how to fix it? i can probably make the track available if that would help. thanks.
