replays/ghost car

I like the ghost car function a lot, this is one I've been waiting for for a while. Would it be possible to have a new gameplay mode where there is always a ghost car?I imagine it as the game would start recording a replay after the starting point is passed once. Then after the car passes the starting point the second time, it can begin playing back the replay from the beginning.Also, it'd be cool if the ghost car was semi-transparent. Like a ghost.
