vdrift Segmentation Error(core dumped)

- What desktop or window manager are you using? It could be a problem with some daemon sound like artsd.

On this hard disk (old 4Gb) there was no window manager and a daemon sound too should not be.

- What version of vdrift was installed? Please paste me the output of ls -ld /var/db/pkg/vdrift*

- Are you using RELEASE or STABLE?

Version 2007-03-23 installed. I will paste tomorrow.

Maybe, it could be a problem with xorg fonts. What kind of fonts have you installed? If you want, you could compile vdrift, selecting the DEBUG option and you could paste us the gdb backtrace. it could help us a lot for find of the problem. (only if it exists), because i can't reproduce the problem, the vdrift-20070323 works without problems here (My FreeBSD box), and anybody didn't report me some problem with my new update.

On an old hard disk (4Gb) standard fonts which are on image FreeBSD cost only. On my usual hard disk (40Gb) there are fonts MS Windows, but I disconnected them is has not helped.
To me it is clear, that a problem in my box. I compiled with option DEBUG. I do not know gdb. If to you it is not difficult, describe more in detail, that it is necessary to make with gdb (command by command). I shall paste necessarily.

VDrift doesn't use xorg fonts at all, the fonts are pre-rendered bitmaps.

Following for "Loading Fonts" should be "Loading Backdrop".
