Drift Competition Mode

I know you have a lot on your plate as far as this game goes, so take this more as an idea, rather than any kind of urgent request.Since this is is, after all, a drift racing game, it might be interesting to have a mode that mimics the drifting competitions growing in popularity where, rather than strictly trying for the best time, they also take style into account. You're judged not just on how fast you go, but on how sideways you get the car, how far away from the edge you are, and so on.I'm not quite sure how best to mimic such a thing. A simple way might be to have a vector for the car's direction, and for the way it's facing. That'd tell you the angle of drift. I imagine the speed and length of time for the drift wouldn't be too hard to calculate either. Based on criteria like that, a person could get points for each successful drift (where they don't spin out, hit anything, or do something else ungraceful).So, what does anyone think? Good idea? Terrible idea? Feel free to be brutal.
