Found it!!!D4MD (deformed) is a simulation of car damage, built using the OGRE rendering engine. Read about it (screenshots plus movie) in the OGRE forumshere.It's hard to see how VDrift could take anything other than ideas from this. Different 3D engine, different approach to the game, I'd be surprised if there was any kind of similarity in code structure.
