Smile hi thelusive

thanx for the response:
i don't recall there being dead zones for the steering... ??
i guess i will have to look harder  sorry for missing it.

as for the adjustable curve for steering sensitivity, what do you think about that? maybe having some options like "exp" and "log" for preset curve shapes?
See, the problem i have right now is if i set it low enough that i can drive without going all over the road just by breathing heavy ( ) then it takes two or three passes with my mouse to get across the steering range, so with a curve setting one could get it just right for oneself.
Anyway, this is a nice development, and gives me all the more reason to get into 3d / game development stuff, and see what i can contribute that way. I'm more of an artist than a coder though Big Grin

PS: ooh, just remembered another related question: i can't seem to use a mouse control at the same time as a keyboard control; what i would like to be able to do is steer with mouse, and shift gears with keyboard, and maybe assign mouse buttons to brake and gas; is there a way to do that?
- with drifting there is lots of pumping the brakes and gunning the accelerator, so really a drift game suits the 'on/off' nature of using buttons for pedals much better than most racing games do Smile

cheers
