Are there really that many confirmation dialogs? Need to check, hehe. Regarding the colors, I am not a big fan of the red/green stuff to be honest, but that is personal preference I guess.

The input mapping code is pretty generic, has no idea about which inputs do what. But I see your point, I think this has been noted already, need to create an issue.

The car list has no images, because there are none yet.

Interesting that you find lists more inconvenient. For me it is the opposite, especially when you have got many cars and tracks.

The good thing is that the gui is completely (well almost...) scripted. So creating a "simple_no_lists" skin should be a matter of copying simple skin and modifying a few config files.
