thats indeed very weird and something we might want to fix...

could you post the complete output in Console.app?
also, does the previous release (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/vdrif...g?download) run fine?
did vdrift ever run fine for you?
does deleting the folder VDrift in "~/Library/Preferences/" help?
