fixed ? ERROR: Can't find value type "player_paints&quo
NaN Wrote:"player_paints" list the internal name for the list with body textures for the selected player car. It is filled by looking for bodyXX.png textures in the selected car directory.

I had the same error message due to running the wrong executable (binaries/linux32/vdrift). My fix was

cd vdrift-2010-06-30/
scons release=1
./build/vdrift (this worked where ./binaries/linux32/vdrift failed with the same error message as you saw)
