GCC 4.0.1 is pretty old. Can you get a newer version?

Also, if you're using the sources from SVN, you should not mix it with sources from the last release. If there are files missing from the xcode project, it's because the xcode project is out of date and needs to be updated to delete files that aren't in SVN any more and add files that are new in SVN.

Make sure that the files you have match what is in SVN.
