New vdrift ubuntu packages running under Dapper

Ah, Xgl...I've seen the demo video and it looks sweet! Ideally, VDrift should work under this system (I saw in the demo that Quake3 does)...so I wonder, what might be causing this? Is there something special we need to change or add for this to work?
