next car, LE progress
i know i still got some work to do on the tc6, and i will. but the way it's built right now has the rubber window molding stretching outside the car which is, imo, less than optimal. and it's also something that i can/will fix once there is a windows release with specular mapping.

so i might as well start to working on the next one. but which one? i've got model instruction diagrams of the following (all favorites of mine):
ML F1 road car
F430
Elise
4th gen Supra

i think i can go ahead and build one of these up to the point the tc6 is at. in an effort to not be duplicating any work i wanted to ask if anyone's working on one of these yet? and also see what people want next.

I like the elise, but all of them sound like they'd be popular.

I have some other ideas:
1. Offroading cars
-Range Rover.
-Caddy Escalade EXT.
-Hummer?
-Monster Truck.

2. Sports Cars
-Lamborghini Miura.
-Lamborghini Murcielago.
-Ferrari 348.
-Quavle Mangusta?
-BMW Z8.

I don't think that the F430 is necessary because we already have a 360

430 is totally necessary!! jk...i do like it though.

looks like the elise is pretty popular. and since i got 3 orthogonal line drawings of it, and nothing to do at the moment...here goes.

thanks Kricor!

for now i think i should be mostly ok with photos i've found on the web. haven't gotten it refined enough so that i'm looking for specific shots and angles yet.

edit: a little while after i posted this image i thought i should trim just my right toenails and then mirror...

does this mean i'm spending too much time in blender?

Looks great! You can't ever spend enough time in Blender. But your left toenails won't wait forever. OK, maybe they will.

ok, nothing drive-able yet. want to figure out a little bit more about the interior and then add some polys to the body to make it smoother and more accurate.

Yeah, the body could look a bit smoother. The interior looks great. I love that car.
