cotharyus: The breaks of the TC are too weak. I modified them yesterday to be a bit better, but haven't really tested it yet.

remember: If you step really hard on the break, the tires stand still, even at 100mph

GASP!!!! :o :o :o :o THE TIRES STOP MOVING IF YOU HIT THE BRAKES HARD!!! (sarcasm) i never checked... does vdrifts ABS lessen the pressure on the brakes (like in real life to 100% braking power rather then 101% (a skid) ) or does it just stop the car braking every time the wheels starts to skid (then continuing braking after the wheel stops skidding)?

yeah, yeah, make fun of me
But in vdrift the wheels keep turning and turning until you reach around 20mph (and for the TC: the front wheels block and the rear wheels keep spinning... thats when i normally call my mechanican to fix my breaks

If I'm testing brakes i turn abs off just because of that suspicion. It may be that the brakes aren't strong enough but testing with ABS turned off is the only way to know. Also its possible that the wheels ARE skidding and vdrift is just making the wheels look like there spinning even though there not. i will test the brakes ASAP because it seems like something that has been bugging people for some time now.

i tested different break settings a bit.
Something is wrong here. Either the car is much too lightwight or something is wrong with the physics engine.
What happens if all wheels block at 60mph, normally? The car will start to skid, or? It wont lift up its rear or make a backflip...

I noticed this on the 3s. what i think it is is that the tires have SO much grip that when you stop you flip forward (like on a bicycle) instead of skidding.

I made a small patch and posted it here: http://paste.debian.net/35811
Maybe you could try and modify it yourself a bit. With this settings you can see the ABS working...
