why is the windows version still 2006-07-08, when will 2006-10-06 be released for windows?

At 10-06 there were some bugs that prevented win32 from building that we didn't know about until a while after the release. These have been fixed, but the other code is not ready for release yet. We'll do another release probably before the end of the year. A Windows release will come with this. Watch the page for news...
