I'm new at messing with compilers, but think I have enough experience to make a go of it. I've followed the wiki directions for getting the dev version/checking out data and compiling on Windows (though I may have missed something).
With code blocks I get as far as this:
Code:
Running project pre-build steps
cmd /c "if not exist ..\..\include\definitions.h. (echo #ifndef _DEFINITIONS_H> ..\..\include\definitions.h && echo #define _DEFINITIONS_H>> ..\..\include\definitions.h && echo #define SETTINGS_DIR ".vdrift">> ..\..\include\definitions.h && echo #define DATA_DIR "./data">> ..\..\include\definitions.h && echo #define VERSION "2011-02-24">> ..\..\include\definitions.h && echo #define REVISION "latest">> ..\..\include\definitions.h && echo #endif>> ..\..\include\definitions.h)"
-------------- Build: Release in win32 ---------------
Compiling: ..\..\src\game.cpp
In file included from ..\..\include/game.h:34:0,
from J:\SVN\vdrift\src\game.cpp:1:
..\..\include/http.h:8:23: fatal error: curl/curl.h: No such file or directory
compilation terminated.
Process terminated with status 1 (0 minutes, 0 seconds)
1 errors, 0 warnings (0 minutes, 0 seconds)
The only curl.h I can find is under osx in the source.
Have I made some obvious mistake? I would love to have this work. What other info can I provide to clarify this?
