.config file wrong version?
The version of your config file does not match the version of VDrift.You may have problems running the game. Delete your ~/.vdrift/VDrift.configto fix this.Segmentation fault :cry: [root@localhost eric]#After deleting the .config file I get the same thing:Missing /root/.vdrift/VDrift.config file, copying.`/usr/share/games/vdrift/settings/VDrift.config' -> `/root/.vdrift/VDrift.config'Found config file /root/.vdrift/carsettings/CS.Found config file /root/.vdrift/carsettings/XS.Found config file /root/.vdrift/carsettings/GT.Found config file /root/.vdrift/carsettings/XSR.CONFIGFILE::GetParam(): main.version not found in /root/.vdrift/VDrift.configThe version of your config file does not match the version of VDrift.You may have problems running the game. What kind of system are you running VDrift on?The wrong version thing is just a warning, and silly me, I forgot to put the correct version in the config file for the 11-03 release, so everyone gets that message even if their config file is the correct version (this is fixed in SVN). However this is not the cause of the segfault...It's likely that this bug is the cause of your problem. This should be fixed pretty soon.

What kind of computer do you have? Also which version of VDrift are you using - source or binary? source is known not to work on FC4 at least with the default version of the compiler.

OK, since Joe fixed this, you can try the latest SVN and see if that works. You will need to install gcc 3.4 to compile it.
