Nice, this is a good improvement.
Yeah, there is too little wheelspin when starting in first with TCS off. Need to bring down the longitudinal friction a bit. Also, the car hardly ever oversteers... seems like it should be a bit harder to drve.
The idle throttle position is too high.
The problem with braking killing the engine is because, for whatever reason, the rear brakes are locking up unexpectedly before the auto-clutch system has a chance to realize what's going on and put in the clutch. If you're using the SVN code, R1930 has an autoclutch tweak that makes it a bit better, but the car still sometimes dies. There are a few ways that I can think of to fix this:
* reduce the braking friction in the rear
* make the autoclutch put the clutch in under heavy breaking
* make the autoclutch react faster somehow
* tweak ABS to prevent wheel lockup
Thoughts about what makes the most sense?

After tuning the F1, such a slow car without downforce is odd. I am very happy, the 360 drives so good in version 05!
The next steps:
Quote:* lowering grip
* reduce the braking friction in the rear (the simple way)
* optimizing suspension: spring, bounce, rebound, camber, anti-roll
* a little oversteering
I found some comments about the modena. One interpretation of the name meant â360 degreesâ, because the car spins effortless in curves. :-)
There are some problems, which i will explore:
* Suspension remains in upper position (also F1; a software problem?)
* Some hinge values have extrem and unexspected consequences (Car hangs in air etc.)

A few comments to the version in SVN now:
1. What happened to my changes to the hood camera position?
2. The tires are way too sticky (although that makes things interesting in its own way )
3. The suspension doesn't ever seem to compress properly. I've noticed this on the F1-02 also. It has to be something about the way the suspension is set up. Maybe I'll play around with it later...

;-) Sorry, i didn´t set it back. I use hood camera for fixed driver view - 2007-03-27.

I am working on this.

This is a bug! I created a new topic for this, because it´s not 360 specific!

I understand "hinge" as instantaneous center of rotation.
There where irritating effects, changing the hinge, b.e. the front of the car "flies" in the air...
