I did recently search for car models on bledswap (for Stunt Rally).
And there is a lot of cars there, that (IMO) would fit VDrift.
The licenses are great, CC0, CC-BY etc.
Of course some may be very high poly count, not have UVs etc. But it's probably still less work than modeling cars form start (blueprints).
