Crashes when i try to start the game

Hello,
installation without probs, but when i try to start any game, the window crashes.
no logfile in the folder.

the console shows:

Hi, could you tell us the file name of the package you used to install?

Did you use the minimal or full package? Did you download the updated version (with the "-2" in the filename) or the old one?

OK, that package had a problem which has been fixed. Head back over to sourceforge and download the new minimal or full package named VDrift-2007-03-23-minimal-2.package - you could opt for the full package if you like.

Thanks, now the game starts, but it hangs by the countdown.

It seems like that last line from ALSA is related to the problem. At least that is a possibility. Please read through this article and try some of the things it describes. I haven't seen this problem before but maybe changing the OpenAL configuration will fix it.
