Vdrift crashes immediately after startup on Windows 7
I am running 2010-06-30 version on Windows 7 on a Lenovo W520
My Graphics Card and Chipset drivers say they are up to date and i have a NVIDIA Quadro 1000M.

I installed the game, it says it was successfully installed. When i start the game a blank terminal pops up, then a window labeled Vdrift comes up for about a second, goes black, then both windows close.

I notice people post the contents of this file stderr.txt:

ERROR: You don't have an NVIDIA or ATI/AMD card. This game may not run correctly or at all.

and stdout.txt

I looked through the forums and tried some of the solutions, either they were the wrong ones or i didn't do them correctly. Please help!

The game reports "Intel® HD Graphics Family". I guess you can switch?

Try setting shaders = false in C:\Users\Zac\My Documents\My Games\VDrift/VDrift.config. But it should reset itself after crash.

You can also try the dev release to see if it runs. http://sourceforge.net/projects/vdrift/f...07-26-dev/

Unfortunately, it also means ugly graphics.
