im running windows xp pro, on a asus eee. i downloaded and installed cygwin and vdrift and when i attempt to open the "vdrift"application and this comes up and then closes really fast (took me a couple trys to get this shot) http://www.4shared.com/file/59734665/7bf83b46/uhg.html

It's probably crashing because you need a 3D graphics card. Unfortunately VDrift is very resource-intensive so software emulation won't work. If you're looking for a racing game to play, torcs (torcs.sourceforge.net) might work better.
